tarzan constantly acting a fool right next to bailey sok is such a hard watch
a lot of us know that bailey sok has been extremely popular in the dance community since forever. she’s consistently shown immense amount of appreciation and respect towards black culture especially for Hip Hop dance. not to mention, a lot of her close friends are black. (Big willsimmons, jayy hancock, Josh price, etc)
so seeing her in a group like ADP was really shocking to me. obviously tarzan’s behaviors have absolutely nothing to do with her but it feels crazy to see her in the same group as someone like him lol
theres a big difference between cultural appreciation and cultural appropriation & in my opinion, what tarzan is doing is the exact opposite of appreciation. constantly seeing him act a fool right next to bailey sok is such a hard watch LMFAO
i wonder if she gets second hand embarrassment like we do
